This was a general discussion meeting. Topics discussed include (but were not limited to):
  • Clojure for financial analytics
  • Apple's restrictions on the languages that run on the iPhone (and other iOS devices)
    • they seem to accept Lua on a case-by-case basis. any hope for Lisp?
    • rationale behind their restrictions: keep Flash out, and prevent people from writing their apps to any API other than Apple's own
  • cross-compiling code for both Xbox360 and PS3
  • automated analysis of source-code repositories to determine development methodologies
