Abram: demoed cellular automata using a Lisp program that outputs C code code is on Github: http://github.com/abramhindle/automata-dsl also showed us simulations (automata, Free Quake) being used to generate sound patterns
Paul: demoed Visual Frameworks (state machine) implementation of Hickey's ants.clj code is longer, but perhaps easier to understand
